Saint Kitts and Nevis reports 17 new cases of COVID-19
1965, the total number of active COVID-19 cases was recorded in Saint Kitts and Nevis. 952 are active COVID-19 cases of these 17 new COVID-19 cases have been reported in the past 24 hours. So far, 13 deaths have been recorded on the island.
There are 0 imported cases in St Kitts and Nevis. A total of 42,068 people have been tested for COVID-19 by medical teams in Saint Kitts and Nevis. After the publication of the results, a total of 1965 people tested positive and another 40,089 people tested negative. 14 test reports are still pending.
According to the update, 973 people have quarantined themselves at their homes. 246 cases are under quarantine at government facilities. 952 people are isolated on the island. 20,405 have been released from quarantine. 1000
people had recovered in Saint Kitts and Nevis.
The Ministry of Health had given the instructions that are published to mitigate the wide spread of the COVID-19 virus on the island. As the virus spreads severely from the hands, to stop this infection, each person has been instructed to wash their hands properly with soap or an alcohol-based solution.
A person should cover their nose and mouth with a bent elbow or a tissue when coughing or sneezing to stop the spread of the virus in the air. After using the tissue, throw it away and wash your hands properly. The report says not to touch the nose, face or mouth and eyes as the virus is mainly transmitted from these surfaces. While respecting social distancing, stay 6 feet away during social interactions. If the person is not feeling well, they should stay at home and let the medical authorities know so they can come and test you.
