Just Eat creates 1,500 jobs in the North East at the new contact center

Recruitment is underway at Just Eat as it announces details of its 1,500-seat contact center in Rainton Bridge, Houghton-le-Spring, which is worth £100million in the area.
Sunderland contact center staff will initially work from home, with the company introducing a hybrid model over the coming months.

Andrew Kenny, Managing Director, Just Eat UK said the takeaway delivery company was moving its customer service operations, currently managed in Bulgaria and India, to the UK in order to provide better service to its customers, which was confirmed by an increased level of customer satisfaction. the share of customers already calling the 300 employees working in the contact center.
